I am a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, and we love to have huge parties at our house for away games. We grill out in the back yard and our kids invite all their friends over. It has become a tradition for us and we do it at least three times every season. Now that our kids are older, some of their teenage friends have started spreading the word about the parties and we’ve had some riffraff try and come to our house. Most of the kids are good, nice kids that we know from the neighborhood, but we knew these were different. They seemed like they were there casing our house to see what they could get out of it. We got really worried that they would try and come back and steal from us so we contacted Kansas City ADT. We got a home alarm system so that we could feel good about our parties and not get worried about people knowing all that we have in our home. Making that change has made us feel more relaxed. We can let our kids invite whoever they would like and they enjoy that too.

I remember so many times that I’ve been to my aunt and uncle’s cabin for the holidays and admired their cabin decor. They have it decorated like you would expect for a cabin, but with a bit of a chic twist. In other words, I really love it and wish that I had a cabin like that to decorate on my own!

I thought that I would try and emulate their decorations for at least my Christmas tree, if not for the rest of my holiday decorations. I did find some pretty good little ideas for decorating our Christmas tree, like using some twine and gingham printed fabric to make a little garland with gingham bows. I also picked up a few pine cones and sprayed them with fake snow, completing the look without getting all new ornaments and blowing my budget!

Low impact activities like biking can also reduce cholesterol and can help lower blood pressure, which is a major health concern for millions of people. Bike riding, however, can also reduce stress, and it’s been proven that managing stress is a key component when it comes to staying healthy. This is a big one! I see a lot of people with belly fat and stress is usually the underlying cause. This is the most dangerous fat to have and should really concern you into action.

Biking has a lot of health and fitness benefits, even just short bike rides daily can make a noticeable difference in your health in a very short period of time. You don’t need to start out buying a fancy bike or any fancy equipment, just buy an all purpose bike and get outside and start riding.

My whole family is really into sports and since I’ve got three teenage boys that’s pretty much all that’s ever on the TV this time of year. Two of the three play football (the other is a baseball boy) but they all love it and they sit around on Sunday’s watching ever NFL game on all the tvbydirect.com channels which is a lot, to say the least! I don’t feel too bad about it though since they study hard and get good grades and they’re really active with practice during the week so I feel like they deserve some downtime come weekends. And I love that all three of them like to spend time together and that they enjoy my house enough that this is where they spend it – at least I know where they are and who they’re with! I usually cook something like chili or chicken so they can chow down during the games and there’s always a few extra friends over, too. I guess I like taking care of them like they like sports!

I was recently looking for an extra Canon camera to take photos of my makeup and for my husband to use as second photographer for events I photograph. I found the EOS Rebel T3i Body at a reasonable price, so I went with it. So far so good!

Its nothing like my fabulous EOS 7D but it’s wonderful for a beginner like my husband. I’m even using it along with my 7D for my pinup and boudoir photo shoots. I put a close up lens on one and a wide angle lens on the other. Saves me so much time and trouble. If you are looking for a point and shoot or a professional DSLR I recommend Canon cameras.
